Ah! I'm still behind on my Feb reads! Gosh, the march of time and all that. Argh. Need more snow days...

I agree with you about him finding his way through these stories (and I saw a lot of Jeeves omniscience in the character Ms. Snyder in the title story).
And btw, I had no idea that Jeeves first name was Reginald. :) Glad to know that. I hope all's well with you these days!

Those look like fun, Christine! I'm interested in reading either one of these. Btw, I really enjoyed our January read Death at the Excelsior and Other Stories.

I didn't realize there wasn't an episode until just now. I'm crestfallen. I agree with you about Grimm Christmases. (Don't you think Monroe would be the coolest friend to have? His awesome trains, classical music, clock fixing, etc, make him one of the most interesting characters on tv.)
I'm crazy about this Wodehouse group. I look forward to seeing what people decide. I hope Loki chimes in too (and I'd love to hear your thoughts on what to read from P.G.). :)
Happy Grimm Friday, Wart! What would you think about a short story collection? Apparently, he created a murder mystery that I'm itching to read. It's in Death at the Excelsior and Other Stories.
If not, what about Mike and Psmith or Piccadilly Jim?
Sorry I haven't been as active as I'd hoped. I just pub'd my first book and it's been insanely consumed in doing so. I hope you're well. (And did you not LOVE that Grimms-mas episode this year?! Good grief, I think the writers are getting better and better.)
All best!

YES, it is. :) Thanks, Inga.
Anna wrote: "I've read those 3 books so I can say that those are great choices! I'll not recommend any because I want to read our October's book The Little Nugget"
Oh, Anna, another gem to add! Gosh, The Little Nugget must be thrown upon The Enormous Pile of Hunter's TBR Books.
(Btw, Wart and Anna, I voted for Leave It to Psmith partly because I've already read it and I'm so behind on my list.) Just being honest. :)
Inga wrote: "Welcome Hunter, always great to have another Wodehouse lover on board :) Thanks for the friend invite :)"Thanks, Inga! Glad to join the Wodehouse club. The man changed my fictional life. And thanks for accepting my friend request. You have excellent taste. It's nice to meet you and Wart. (Book people are my favorite people, incidentally.) :)

Very fine choices, Inga! :)
Wart wrote: "And I'll put Leave it to Psmith on there 'cause I know Hunter recommended it, so I figure it counts as a nom :)"Hunter Murphy (huntermurphywriter) | 4 comments Ha! Well done, my friend. It does indeed. Let us make it official. I'm thrilled to be included in such an esteemed group of readers. Also, I have been meaning to read Mating Season, and will add it to the top of the pile forthwith! (Right Ho, Jeeves, was almost too much fun.)
Thanks for including me!
Wart wrote: "I've never read an Psmith either, but I'm sure some'll crop up in our monthly reads eventually :)Welcome to the group!"
Hey, thanks for having me and please, please, please put the book Leave it to Psmith on the top of your TBR list. As Adrian Monk says, "you'll thank me later." Oh mercy, I had a screaming fit reading that Psmith book. You'll howl. I guarantee it. :)

I love the idea for it. Well played, Sir. :) Wodehouse is one of my favorites of all times. His plots are absolutely spot-on! I learned recently that he would write these 20,000-word "schemes" (basically outlines) for his novels and it makes sense, because they have such a zip and zing to them. Of course, he's also one of the funniest writers that the 20th Century produced!
Anyway, I just joined today and wanted to say I approve heartily of this group. Well done and right ho, chap!

I just finished Something Fresh this summer. What an absolute scream of a book!
