135877 Welcome Hunter, always great to have another Wodehouse lover on board :) Thanks for the friend invite :)

135877 I second that idea :)

135877 Do you mean the little nugget?
135877 Due to a delightful little (read: monstrously evil) thing, my thesis, I haven't even finished Galahad at Blandings. I do, however, intend to immerse myself in Wodehouse on Thursday when I hand the little blighter in and binge read both Galahad at Blandings and Barmy in Wonderland. Oh, delightful prospect! I can't wait!

135877 Haha, I was considering what to nominate and Barmy in Wonderland was it :)

135877 Lovely to have a new member, welcome! :)

Something Fresh and the Code of the Woosters are really good, and anything with Jeeves in the title and you really can't go wrong!

135877 Wait, why does the front page say that Galahad at Blandings is scheduled for August 31, are we not reading it in August?

135877 Looking forward to this :D
135877 Haha true! He does have quite strong ideas on appropriate dress!
135877 This was excellent, and I agree with you Wart, everyone needs a Jeeves!

If I might suggest, sir—it is, of course, merely a palliative—but it has often been found in times of despondency that the assumption of formal evening dress has a stimulating effect on the morale.

He is a genius.
135877 I had to google 'cow creamer', I had little idea of what we were dealing with here. I knew it had something to do with cream and pouring, I refused to believe that it was actually a cow. Well, I was wrong...

Apparently this is the source of Wooster's misery:

135877 I say, jolly good! I'll dig out my copy :)

135877 I suggest the Code of the Woosters

135877 Hahaha, those eyebrows would have cracked me! Ashe is a strong man to resist them!

135877 Am I alone in thinking that a wand of death is clearly the Elder Wand? Ashe, Ashe, Ashe, it could have been you instead of JK Rowling...

Edit: Dang, read further along. My theory blew up in my face. The good news is that I finally got invested in the story and started liking Ashe.

135877 I don't know if there have ever been two people as destined to play any characters as Fry and Laurie were to play Jeeves and Wooster. I also love all the supporting cast and I love seeing glimpses into the Drones Club, the stuff going on in the background is usually hilarious.
