Would you rather have an actual book in your hand or would you rather just be able to pick up and E-reader with multiple books loaded? Which would you rather buy? We want to hear your thoughts!
The Indie Author of the Week Voting has now begun over at the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TheParanormalBookshelf). Head on over and vote on the pinned post with your favorite Indie Author and the author with the most likes and comments on the post will win a one week spot on our blog and on FB were we promote then and learn all about them and their books. Their week will start Monday May 19th but voting early will allow us time to get ready for them. Thanks and make sure you spread the word.

So since May is almost half way over I thought we could decide on a June Book of the Month. This will be a book that is voted on by all of you. We will open this post today for nominations and then the last week in May we will narrow it down the 4 that you all will get to choose between. Everyone interested can read, talk, discuss that book throughout June. ***This book should be available through the nook and kindle store in order for everyone to get a hold of it.
***It can be popular or Indie.
***It does not have to have a certain length.
***Anyone is allowed to nominate below.

The Review Team @ The Paranormal Bookshelf consists of booklovers both fans and authors who have joined together in order to write reviews on both personal and requested books. These reviews are done honestly and frequently.We are always looking for more reviewers for this team and would encourage anyone interested to get in contact by posting their interest below.
We have several authors who are excited about our reviews and we just would like to grow this section of this site because we believe reviewing is vital to any authors mission. Right now we have 3 reviewers and would like to grow that number so if interested, please comment below.
Please read these things first (they are what we are looking for:
1) Avid reader either kindle, nook, paperback
2) Have reviewed before either on your own or through another place. If you haven't it's okay it is just that it makes it easier to begin.
3) MUST have an E-reader because that is how you will receive your copy.
4) If you fail to review a book that is sent to you then not only will you be banned from reviewing through us again but you will also be reported throughout the reviewing community because that is called stealing.
5) You can read books that you are currently reading and review them or you can choose from the list under than section. Either way it is all about getting the word out for authors and letting others in our group know what book is what.
6) Must be 18+ years or older. We handle a lot of adult books as well as YA and we just prefer they all be reviewed under the same guidelines.
Welcome everyone. We are beginning our journey here on Goodreads and we would like to thank everyone who is involved here. We thought this would be a great place to share our reviews as well as see what everyone is reading. This will not take over the blog nor Facebook but will just be a way for us to get the word out there more so than before. So welcome everyone and let's make this a great tool for us all.
