He just kind of evolved as I wrote him. I wanted him to have a good heart but also to be quite ruthless too. His history just sort of spun as I was writing, and for some reason my love of dragons came to mind :)

Absolutely. I found Evie easy to write as she wrote paranormal romances and also hid her true identity :)

I also related to her first love experience though mine wasn't anywhere near as passionate as hers ;)
