Reading The Glovemaker’s Daughter by Leah Fleming. I enjoy historical fiction but this story of a Quaker girl is not my usual interest, and I haven’t read any of Fleming’s other works. I’m determined to read it through though. The book is well written and the story is interesting enough to keep me reading.

Currently reading Dear Mrs Bird for NetGalley with a few more in my shelf. If only I could just sit and read all day!

I just reviewed a children’s book that specifically requested no quotes. Although I’ll often make a note of quotes that resonate with me in my journal, I generally don’t make it a habit to quote books in my reviews. I think it’s a personal choice.

Hi, I'm Lisa. Just discovered NetGalley last night after I saw so many book reviews that referred to it, and of course, I'm already addicted. Starting reading The Rain Watcher today and have already been approved for another book, so I guess I shouldn't spend too much time on here, and should get to reading! Looking forward to the new books I'll get to preview.
