Beneath the Marigolds ...liked the story, gave it 3 stars. The swearing was added in.
I'm Wearing Tunics Now is pure garbage.
Never Name the Dead, I'm 30% in and the mystery is beginning. It's slow with a lot of unexplained traditions.

I'm not sure there is a real answer. I have wondered when I sent a book back how that affects what I get. I'm not sure I will ever know. I do follow a personal if possible mention something good, sometimes it's about the cover. If a book is bad for me, it will be good for someone else. I do get denied books on NetGalley. I checked my profile and I'm not a teacher, blogger, YouTuber. I'm a reader. I've wondered why I'm sent an email asking for reviewers and then get denied.

Elizabeth Finch by Julian Barnes. The male narrator has hooked me. The story appears whimsical.

My Brother's Spare pub date 8/24/21 & archived date 10/26/21 ... I think I wish listed this and it was late when I got it. It's an E-book, and I prefer audio this time of year, so it stays on the list. I am fortunate, I watched BookTubers explain NetGalley, reliable Tubers are consistent be careful how many you ask for, you may just get them. I'm grateful for those with experience passing on their wisdom.
Does NetGalley ever say anything?
