At this time of my life, fiction is my genre of choice; a good mystery, an old classic or just a quiet, mindless "fluff" (NOT love stories!!!) read helps me to unwind. Nothing wrong with this, as far as I'm concerned!

I too have read the McCall series and loved them!! That is one you should try...I really like Barbara Wood's books...she has strong women character development, which I like, and the Laurie King book, Beekeepers Apprentice is tons of fun!!

I rarely re-read a book, however, Five Smooth Stones and Little Women have been read many times over...both favorites. Most other re-reads are my children's/grandchildren's favorites that are committed to memory...Dickens, Christmas Carol is one.
