i was talking to someone the other day and they said it gave them nightmares…
is it that scary???

“Ah, it’s all coming back to you now, isn’t it?” he sneers. “The car wreck, the ambulances, my wife.” he whispers with a clinched jaw.

Kara searched his face seeing if something would trigger her memory, when a scar shaped like a lightning bolt at the corner of his eye came to her attention. That scar, she had seen it somewhere, but where? And then it dawned on her…

“What are you talking about?” she asked in a confused voice. “I’ve never even met you before today.”

Pulling on the chains that bound her, she muttered, “There’s got to be a way out of here.” She lifted her head and looked around the room to see if she could find anything to assist in her escape when something to the left caught her attention.
