@Jeni yes this used to happen to me all the time when I lived closer to the ports on a coastal town. Trees fell everywhere and it was like having a stranger get used to being in my house. It felt odd, but I used a home recipe to make the rooms and air feel cleaner afterwards. I can send it to you if you’d like. I hope the repairs are going well and are done quickly! 🏠

@Jeni I really liked Dracula especially reading it the first time!! If you want to add a movie to your list, I can suggest Dracula’s Widow (1988)

@LePossume I feel the same way about Kindle! I have to travel with a physical book otherwise I get no work done and it’s all spent reading every chance I get 😹

@LePossume I’m also interested in Song of the Abyss. If you get to it first, can you give me your take on it?
I’m torn about Quicksilver. It’s gone on and come off my TBR list many times.

@Jeni I haven’t read the series yet. I’m honestly not a massive fan of Stephen King either. I tried to get into his books several years ago but they always lacked my interest. His writing style is fantastic to study but personally I’ve been getting more into fantasy lately. What about the series draws you to it?

Hi! I feel quite similarly. My TBR keeps growing, especially as books in series are announced. I just joined the site after a few people recommended it. Looking forward to this group.
