hmmm, that depends on what you mean. does he have powers? no he doesnt, though other characters, more central to the plot, do indeed have a power. i could be wrong again, cuz to be honest ive never read the book. but i have seen the movies and shows so i know the character well enough i figure. and hes always represented as just a guy

hmm, well the most famous interpretation was a movie, there was definitely a cartoon version in the 90s on fox kids that was a different version than the famous movie, but the main character of the book (not the character that is the answer, just the main character of the book) has probably showed up on disney channel but im not too sure of that one.

The book was published in the early 1900s, as for movies theres pretty much been a new representation every 20 years or so, both live action and cartoon

Hmm, i guess fantasy, childrens story. But its pretty much loved by all ages. Id say you know the movie version better than the book one, tho i cant be certain about that
