12759 Yay on finishing another book. For some reason I seem to be reading books that start with the same 3 letters so it looks like I haven't read anything in a while :(

Anyways, good to see you keeping up and having fun with it.

12759 Sorry! I found it and had it copied on my computer when I started it last year. I couldn't remember where I got it from, but I knew I had a blast doing it last year so I just put it up for everyone to do.

12759 Haha, no problem. It can get really confusing trying to scroll through all the posts to see if you've already read a book with that letter. This way it's all right there and easy to read!

12759 Wow, you're working your way through. It might be easier to keep track if you include the whole alphabet in a post, and then update that one. That way you can see exactly what you have left in one post.

Just an idea.

12759 I added new folders for each challenge, you can go in and edit your topics so they fit into the right category. This will make it easier for everyone to navigate around.

Thanks,

12759 That's awesome. The last couple weeks I've been going crazy with school and work so by the time I have a few minutes to myself, I'm usually taking a nap. :)

12759 Wow, you're doing good already! Between school and work I feel like I haven't been able to read in weeks (even though its really only been a couple days)! I think that your M author can stay, you seem to be doing it by last names so that would be Millay.

Anyways, congratulations! Keep up the good work.

12759 Congratulations. Sorry I haven't been on in a while, school just started and I'm trying to get it all together this semester.

Anyways, you have a good list started. How did you like the Secret Life of Bees? I had to read it for school and I really enjoyed it, but I know a lot of people didn't.

12759 Here's how it works:

A-Z CHALLENGE

*Fill in each letter of the alphabet with a title or author of a book that you've read that begins with that letter (i.e. American Psycho for the letter A).

*Articles (a, an, the) don't count in alphabetizing, so skip to the first letter of the next word (i.e. A Thousand Splendid Suns would count for the letter T, The Great Gatsby would count for the letter G, and so on).

*Titles that start with or are entirely comprised of numbers, will be alphabetized by how they would be spelled when written out in English (i.e. 1984 would count for the letter N for Nineteen Eighty-Four).

*The letter X space will be special. The title will only have to include the letter X to count (i.e. Don Quixote). This isn't necessarily as easy as it sounds.

*You can use the first or last name of the author (i.e. James Patterson could count for the letter J or the letter P)

It would probably be easiest if everyone starts a new topic with their challenge and then updates it as they go.

Well, there it is...hope everyone has fun! :-)
