We're finishing up
The False Prince today! What did you guys think of the big twist at the end? Now that you're re-reading, did you see more clues throughout the rest of the book?

SUPER SPOILERY QUESTION AHEAD! You've been warned.
(view spoiler)[ We're super impressed with how Sage never exactly lies about his true identity. Okay, maybe the Avenian accent... Were there any details about his parents or upbringing that he mentions that particularly stood out to you on your re-read, now that you know how the story will end?
We particularly liked the scene in chapter 6 when Conner is interrogating the boys about their upbringing. Sage really manages to dance around answering questions about his education, his swordsmanship and his experience with horses. Did anything else jump out to you? (hide spoiler)]

Do you remember what your thoughts were of Roden, Tobias, Conner and Mott the first time you read
The False Prince? What about Imogen?
If you're re-reading like us, do you notice anything about their characters that you didn't spot the first time through?

We're on chapter 12, and here are some more of our favorite moments:
"Can you manage a sword?" "Sure, if my opponent doesn't have one."
"I barely had time to curse their mothers' graves before I crumpled to the ground."
"'You eat with your left hand?' Conner asked me. 'That's unacceptable. Can you do it with your right?' 'Can you do it with your left?' I countered."

Sage is such a snarky, fantastic troublemaker - we loved him from the first page when he's stealing the roast! What are some of your favorite Sage moments or quotes?
