both are loved by kids and used to play with

both are used for communication--playing music to people or sending emails, etc

both abound at "events" like political rallies, pep rallies, conventions, etc

both are sharp and poke-y

Memorial Day and a visit to the dentist

both have a lot of parts

pneumonia and Venus

both are black and white--as long as you write with a black pen. Also both have stripes, if you think of the lines on the paper as stripes, which they are very thin ones

a stethascope and a cake

both are for water prevention--either from hair or noses

a painting by Picasso and a shoe box

both have hair--some paint brushes are even horsehair brushes


an old, out-dated medical dictionary and Christmas lights

Both of them are unappetizing and can be smelled in a hospital

Gaucamole and sand

Both take imagination--it's our imagination that imbues the rose with the meaning it has, if we didn't do that, it would be just another flower

oatmeal and an old tv sitcom re-run

both are fun

Both can go inside each other--when you carry the mouse around in the box and when the mouse chews holes in the box you put him in and swallows bits of cardboard in the process--both are inside each other at the same time

doing laundry (like I'm doing now) and a computer

both are something that help get you through the day at school

milkshake and washcloth

Both are anticipated and dreaded--Wednesday, the middle day of the week, finally here, means half the work week is over, but you still have half to go, a baby walking is so exciting and you can't wait til they take their first step, but then they can get away from you and get into more things and are harder to take care of

hurricane shutters and a raspberry

Both would make me dizzy if I saw/heard them

twine and reading

both are soft and fuzzy
