Yuk, I hate it when a story sounds like it's going to be good then turns out to be poorly written.

Di, I've tried library book clubs but, like you said, not books I necessarily wanted to read.

I did find a romance book club on MeetUps once.

That's funny. I felt that way about the other series we're reading and just kind of stopped. This one I'm loving although the first one was probably my least favorite of the series - only because for me they just keep getting better.

I agree you don't have to read 2 to enjoy this one. If you wanted to you could read 2 after this one and not have any spoilers.
