I caught the rag, a bit surprised that she had the audacity to act like this towards me. "Well, at lease I don't a fragile ego like yours. Getting so defensive when I'm just trying to help you out." I say innocently, standing and leaning towards her over the counter

I laugh at her display of anger. "Someone's grumpy." I mock. "Did I make you sad because you couldn't do your job right? What're you, 2?"

I arch an eyebrow. "I don't have any important shit to do." I say, mocking her a bit.

"Yep. Dante Sterling, at your service." I wink, grinning a bit. I notice her looking around, but don't say anything about it. My phone buzzed constantly so i put it on silent.

I bite back a smirk as I notice her nervousness. "Dante. I own this place." I add the last part as an offhand comment, smirking a bit. I lean back in my chair a bit, sipping my whiskey, swirling it in my glass a bit.

I sigh,"Good enough I guess. You're lucky I'm in an ok mood today. Or you''d be fired by now." I take a sip. "What's your name, anyways?" I arch an eyebrow

He rubbed his face, annoyed. "Where's the ice?" he said. "Whiskey on the rocks literally means whiskey on ice. Have you never been in a bar before?"

He rolled his eyes again and muttered under his breath,"I have to start looking more carefully when I hire people." Then he said,"Whiskey on the rocks."

"My usual?" He arches an eyebrow. "Are you new or something?" He rolled his eyes, putting his phone face down on the counter.

Dante's eyes flicker to the girl. "A whiskey," he says, looking back at his phone, where he'd been trying to ignore the multiple texts he'd gotten from his dad, demanding him to hurry to the 'meeting' they'd scheduled with an enemy gang. But he knew it would just end in fighting, so there's no point in going.
