1. use shows (the 100, fringe, x-files, etc) and give each a 1-line summary (e.g. the x-files - trust no one) and whatever most resonates with that person is their group.... not my favorite but it's an idea
2. a space themed quiz (people have to choose fav. space phenomena or planet etc or maybe even include fav. show/character/movie or hypothetical situations...
I actually asked AI to give me some sample questions for a space-themed quiz)
For scoring:
★ give a different number of points to different categories (A = 4 for group 1, 2 for group 3...)
★ each answer could have a symbol that represents one of the 4 groups. i guess for symbol you just count how many you have at the end?
★ instead of the symbols representing a group, they could represent a quality from each group (like idk adventurous ig or diplomatic) and then at the end, whatever quality they got the most of is tells them what group they're in
★ i asked chatgpt for some other ideas:
Present a star chart or galaxy map during the quiz. Each answer moves participants closer to a specific starship on the map.
Example: "You’ve answered 3 questions in favor of Betelgeuse, so your galactic path leads there!"
3. give each starship it's own "theme" (or mission - like exploring, defending, sciency etc)
that's all i got. sorry if this doesn't help... and that it's so long

I don't have a specific favorite bc it's been awhile since I've read scifi, but Ender's Saga, The Giver, and 1984 are in my top 10 (i hnstly don't remember the others right now)
random: is it true The Hunger Games counts as sci-fi? Also, did anyone ever read Eager? cause i know literally nobody in my life who has...

Tpbm has seen Treasure Planet?
