After a while, Koko came back with some loaves of bread and some cheese. "This is all that I could find a the moment, I don't have a lot of money you see."
"Oh well, I'll start making something to eat now I guess."
"Sweet, but weird..."
"I can only transform into a wolf, I am half wolf anyways."
"Though, since it is charmed, it looks like I bought it. I love being a mage."
"It takes a long time to make furniture with only magic and scraps of material, so please don't break it."
"Oh well, that happens to certain people." Koko said as she walked through the doorway. "Well, make yourself at home!" Koko said as she motioned to a couch.
"Hey, where did your friend go? I thought that he wanted to see my place."
Then the flame flickered and burned out. "Heh, I'm still not very good at this yet. I started using magic about a year and a half ago, fire is pretty hard to control."
"Anything that I have learned how to do with this pendant, just look at this." Koko said as the pendant turned scarlet and a small flame appeared in her hand.
"My magical amulet! Or pendant, or whatever!"
"Here watch this." Koko said as she took out her pendant. The pendant glowed orange for a second, then a doorway appeared.
"Here's my place!" Koko yelled excitedly as she motioned to a wall in a dark alley.
"That would be a good idea." Koko said as she put away her pendant and walked into the shadows.
"So you don't want to come to my place." Koko said to Yarrei as she raised an eyebrow.
Koko just sighed as Kana growled at Yarrei menacingly."Kana has known me all of her life and we are pretty much family." Koko said while scratching behind Kana's ears.
"It's more fun that way!" Koko said as she walked into the shadows, Kana following right behind her."Hey, you coming or not?" Koko yelled behind her.
"It's this." Koko said as she holds up a pendant that has many colors on it. "though I'll never tell you how it works, you'll find out soon enough."
"Sweet. So, do you want to see my pendant?"
"Aww, she likes you!" Koko told Yarrei as Kana slowly walked towards him.
