Some Thoughts
1. I don't think a POV from Andrew was necessary. The book was definitely a thriller but I think below the surface it was also a story about strong female characters who although flawed do what they need to do to survive in what is often a male dominated world. Although this is my take on it, after finding out what he was doing I wouldn't want to be in his head as a reader.
2. I did think that Andrew was too good to be true. I kept thinking why is this man with Nora what else is going on here that we don't know yet. To me it just seemed way too odd about their cookie cutter life. Ultimately it was taking Millie to the Broadway show and then to a fancy restaurant where I totally didn't believe the story he was throwing.
3. The ending or more so the epilogue. I thought it was entertaining how the author set it up for Millie being a hit man for abusive men in the future. I wasn't expecting that at all.
4. No I don't think this would have happened
with these two characters if they themselves didn't know people who were victimized. As others have said above, the cop part I didn't agree with at all. The ending seemed rushed and almost like a cop out after the rest of the book.
5. I wasn't surprised by this revelation at the end. Did it affect him mentally, absolutely but there's no excuse for what he did.
Overall I liked the book up until the ending. It was rushed and I thought kind of messy at the end.
