"Yep... well, it'll be fine..."He didn't seem quite convinced, but tried to shrug it off.

"Last item - litter box."
"That one? Okay,"He picks up the bag, but not before giving Spots a scratch behind the ear.
"I can agree with that statement."He lifts the cat out of the cart and places him on the ground to choose.
(aww man. Well, someday)"Well... I'm guessing the cat's picking again?"
(I mean, there's always volunteer work at a shelter or something)He catches up, and they're standing in front of all the litter.
"Alright, alright, I'm coming,"he lets out a small laugh.
"Alright then, kitty litter,"
"Just glad you're okay,"
He skids to a stop, rushing back to check on her."Are you alright?"
He gives a mischievous look, then without warning, gets a running start and hops onto the cart, grinning.
"I'm trying, I'm trying! Jesus, feel like an old man,"
"Hey, wait up!"
"Well, there's no time like the present then, is there?"
"Hey, hey..."He pulled her into a gentle hug.
"Anytime,"He gives a small smile.
"Okay then, looks like it's settled,"He put the rest of the cat beds back up, putting the one Spots had picked into the cart with the cat still inside.
