YESS!! I was rooting for an ending where Alina and the Darkling could rule together, but then that happened, and everything is wrong in that world now *sobs*

Same! I had never really explored books that much, and kotlc was the first series I ever stepped out of my comfort zone to read, and ever since then, reading has been magic for me! I haven't been able to stop exploring new books! (Kotlc will forever remain #1 in my heart though!)

I mainly started the series to read Once Upon a Broken Heart bc I heard that was good, but I have to finish this series first haha. I'm glad it does get better tho!

Thats good! the ending for book 1 kinda left me a little disappointed, but I hope it gets better!
