I read Why We Love Baseball: A History In 50 Moments by Joe Posnanski.

Loved it

I read From A Cat's View, short stories and a few poems told from a cat's perspective. Mostly SciFi stories, edited bay Robin Praytor

I read Why We Read: On Bookworms, Libraries, and Just One More Page before Lights Out by Shannon Reed. Also works for 2024 publication

I have been having trouble finding a book for this prompt...then while I was reading Peter Pan I saw that it was a play first, then J. M. Barrie wrote a novelization of the play.

That's good enough for me so I'm using it here, as I think the intent is the book was based on previously released material

I read Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. It is not a romance novel but it DOES have two separate minor subplots involving romance between characters over 30: a pair in their early 30's, and one in their 70's

I read The Women by Kristin Hannah

Did not live up to the hype in my opinion. No plot and unlikable lead character. There wee some intertwining things about the nurses' experience in Vietnam, including the MC suffering from PTSD. But in my opinion some of her problems were self created but were portrayed as being off shoots of her PTSD.

I read Babel by R. F. Kuang...in this version of the industrial revolution, England depends on silver, and needs translators to "program" the silver to do certain functions.

I read El Deafo. I was not familiar with this book, don't usually read graphic novels OR middle grade.... but I loved it!

I read Fahrenheit 451, not non-fiction but has a Dewey Decimal classification of 813 (classic fiction) so I think it counts

I read The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, most takes place from 1974-1978

I read If Cats Disappeared From the Earth by Genki Kawamura

I read Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

I read I Work At A Public Library: A Collection of Crazy Stories from the Stacks by Gina Sheridan

I read Daisy Jones and the Six, now streaming on Amazon

I read non-fiction: A Truth Universally Acknowledged: 33 Great Writers on Why We Read Jane Austen, edited by Susannah Carson

I read The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway....Part 2 is at the "fiesta" during the running of the bulls so its a carnival

I read Braiding Sweetgrass...the author is spiritual

I read Demon Copperhead. Part of it is on a a farm, others in a farm supply store, and nearly all of it at least rural

I read The RESTAURANT At the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams

I read Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, picture of the train across the bottom
