1221961 I have been having trouble finding a book for this prompt...then while I was reading Peter Pan I saw that it was a play first, then J. M. Barrie wrote a novelization of the play.

That's good enough for me so I'm using it here, as I think the intent is the book was based on previously released material
1221961 I read Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. It is not a romance novel but it DOES have two separate minor subplots involving romance between characters over 30: a pair in their early 30's, and one in their 70's

1221961 I read The Women by Kristin Hannah

Did not live up to the hype in my opinion. No plot and unlikable lead character. There wee some intertwining things about the nurses' experience in Vietnam, including the MC suffering from PTSD. But in my opinion some of her problems were self created but were portrayed as being off shoots of her PTSD.
