121177 Lonesome Dove was the first book I cried at. Then the Harry Potter books when Dumbledore died. It is rare for me too.

121177 Past Imperfect by Julian Fellowes and The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. Both marvelous reads!

121177 My favorite "Earth Day" reading or book about the environment is the Bible. "For God created the Heavens and the Earth." I personally celebrated the Creator.
121177 Reading a very funny autobiography: "At My Mother's Knee and other low joints" by Paul O'Grady. The British comedian may not be very well-known (if at all) by Americans but he is a very funny man and has had quite a life. He always made me laugh on TV and the book is hilarious.

121177 I just finished "Swept Off Her Feet" by Hester Browne which was a DELIGHT! and am now going to start my March Biography/Autobiography by reading Paul O'Grady's "At My Mother's Knee...and other low joints".

121177 Reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows and it is just an utter delight! Written in the form of letters it's an easy read. It takes place after WWII but the reminiscences are about wartime life in England and the Island of Guernsey.

121177 Actually need to amend my comment. I'm reading Louise Penny's "A Rule Against Murder" on my Kindle. I got one ahead of myself in the series

121177 Just signed up. Have already signed up for Goodreads challenge of 50 books in 2014 so this means I will need to get reading this year! Already logged "The Last Illusion" by Rhys Bowen and plan to finish "Black Ship" by Carola Dunn today. So that's 2 for this year so far!
