I have alot I want to read, but time and real life gets in the way at times
the snow was nice, since we hardly ever get any down here, but we could have done without the constant 20 degree day time highs.I finished last years challenge, good thing the first part of the year,I read alot, cause I hit a slump, hmm about the same time I discovered rock painting and hiding them
books on CD,makes a sink full of dishes disappear with little effort, also same goes for a weeks worth of ironing. It makes the crochet hook fly through stitches when doing charity hats and scarves, okay It wasn't until recently that I stopping reading a book that wasn't moving along or catching my interest.this is a household that every single one of us has traveling book on the run
I finally finished the 26 CD's of Paul McCartney The Life,it took me nearly 7 wks!It was a great story. My next read is French Twist by James Patterson & Richard DiLallo, followed by the Apartment by Danielle Steel, then on to NYPD Red 4 by James Patterson
JoAnnaIn the borough of Brooklyn, our library, was in an area called Grand Army Plaza,it was the main branch.it was quite a trek back then, all up hill, well the area was called Park Slope for a reason I guess. It was a tall building with lots of steps, there were lots of choices in books.
I probably wouldn't recognize the area now, both the library area and just in general, where the Barclay center is now, back growing up that area was an open air Fulton fish market, gee how times chance.I haven't been back in that area since Sept.1963
I'm signed in,just need a quiet moment to get them listed, well I guess I can toss those reviews,I did have written,I know it will make it easier on me,sometimes my reviews got a little wordy.
looking forward to another great year of reading.Lyn
