Yeah I remember thinking it was a little slow at the beginning - would recommend pushing through as the whole series is fun haha

In the same boat! I think there was so much hype around it that I went in with extremely high expectations. I still enjoyed it/found it entertaining - I really liked all the dragon politics/interactions, but definitely not one of the best in that genre I've read.

Will still probs read the next one though at some point haha (keeping my fingers crossed for more dragons)
