1211063 Sorry, I missed the post! You can use any book completed since December 30th that fits the tasks!

Sarah Donovan

Sarah Donovan is James’s opposite—lively, rebellious, and fiercely independent. She left the estate years ago to make her own way in the city. She’s only returned for her mother’s sake, and it’s clear she has little respect for the Donovan legacy. Her contempt for James’s way of life is obvious, and the siblings clash at every opportunity.

Task 1: Read a book with a strong, independent female lead.
Task 2: Read a book where a character rejects their family’s traditions.
Task 3: Read a book where city and country life are in conflict.

1211063 William Everett

William Everett has served the Donovan family for over thirty years, the picture of loyalty and discretion. As the family butler, William knows every secret the family has tried to hide, and his quiet presence often goes unnoticed. Yet, it is clear that William has seen and heard more than he lets on. His loyalty to the family is unquestionable, but as financial troubles mount and tensions rise, even the most loyal servant might be forced to choose between his livelihood and his conscience.

Task 1: Read a book where a servant holds the key to solving a mystery.
Task 2: Read a book where a long-time servant or employee knows more than they reveal.
Task 3: Read a book with any character being a servant.
