Lori’s comments from the Reading for Enjoyment/E block 2023 group.

From my current book, "Just the Nicest Couple" by Mary Kubica, I am suprised how quickly I am reading this one. I have read books by this author before, and it usually takes a little while to get into the book, as her plots seem to be a slow burn. However, this one is really grabbing my attention. The narration switches from three different characters, and I am really interestesd in the plot.

What is surprising you, about the current book you are reading? Or from the book you just finished? Is there something you were not expecting? Maybe something from the plot/structure/character developement?
