#45 - Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris#46 - Bone Crossed by Patricia Briggs
#47 - Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs
#44 - Breaking Nova by Jessica Sorensen...I really don't think NA is for me. Not with these sort of themes.
I am LOVING the Mercy books. I was reading them all weekend and celebrating that it was a long weekend so I could just be lazy with a book. SO good! I fight hardbacks too, but the new one came out in trade paperback in Australia, so I've ordered that and I'll get the mass market when it comes out (so everything matches....like I'll have to do with the Kate Daniels series from now on. Damn hardbacks!)
Touch of Power was good, but I still haven't finished that series yet and I keep hearing mixed things about the last book, so I was definitely bump it up...but maybe not rush :P
#41 - Burn by Julianna Baggott ...sort of sad ending to the series - not the way I wanted it to go :(
I know, I know - it's not like it's been tame romance in the past, but it was like sex on every other page. You'll see.
Unused gift cards are the best! (Although I'm a little concerned you managed to *not* use it already...what kind of crazy person are you, being able to resist spending book gift cards immediately!?) I really liked this one, but there was a lot more sex than I was expecting. I mean, I know it's PNR, but still...it was A LOT!
I thought it was better than the last one (Merit wasn't so weak) but it all felt a bit rushed. The whole (view spoiler) could have been two different books! Instead, it was all brushed over. I wonder if she didn't know she'd have another 3 books after the next one or if there was still too much plot to get through?
BUT...I still really enjoyed it, because it's Ethan and Merit and CV!
#30 - Landline by Rainbow Rowell. I loved this book! It was just...I don't even know how to describe it. Funny, easy, emotional, touching. I loved it.
