You know I entirely confess that I have not read the books, but I fully intend to. My Wife has and its actually started some great discussions in our home about government- a subject she would never talk with me about before.

For a favorite scene I'd have to say that in the first movie when she decides to openly rebel, not through self sacrifice but during the show of abilities when she targets her arrow straight into the sponsor's booth- that got me very excited.

Though it isn't my favorite- and I don't think its much of a spoiler I'll still offer an alert- in Catching Fire- the film- when they are in the train and they pass the mockingjay graffiti, that sent chills down my spine. I don't quite know why, I really don't approve of defacing property, but it still affected me, even after the movie was done.
