120448 I don't really see that. When I think of Katniss I think of someone who stood up to liberate her family/people from the tyranny of the Capitol. Where Luke (before he met the old dude) was just a whiny, self centered, lazy kid who seems to have had absolutely no experience with personal hardship from the Empire. Later he learns more and stand up against the tyranny of the Empire, but he still has no personal experience of grief from the Empire. (Except for the death of his aunt and uncle, but he got over that a little to quickly. o.O) Katniss' story will make you cry your self to sleep, where Luke's just doesn't put out much emotion. Katniss' enemy is an oppressive government who is right next to her all the way, but she can't do anything about it because she is just surrounded by a deep fear blocking her from doing anything at he moment. Luke's enemy is his father(he later learns)who is a jedi who has turned to the Dark Side, (which I still don't really understand why)but later becomes good again. o.O It seems the real enemy in the trilogy was the Emperor. Katniss' partners are a mixed group of people, who have different character traits which makes the story interesting. Luke's chums are a misfit band of people complete with walking carpet. :P

Not that I don't like Star Wars, I'm just saying I don't think that you can compare the two. There is a time and place for both.
