Edith creeped silently through the offices trying to get more answers. She saw a box identical to the one holding the disks. She looked into it. Inside was a strange looking statue of a cat. It tickled her fingers to touch. She realized that she couldn't see her feet. She wrapped the statue on paper and carried it out. She ran upstairs to the bedroom and hid it where no one would find it.
Edith ran after him. "I don't just want your help. But I want you to be my friend. Will you be?" she asked concerned. She only hoped that he would befriend her.
"You see, there was this boy, Psych. He warned me not to follow John, So I did, and I found him with a bunch of cds. I need you're help to solve what's going on. I have a strange connection to this place."
"Here." she handed him some clothes. "Put them on, I'll be outside." she said. When she entered again he wore a gray shirt and jeans. Edith smiled. "You look much better. I'll get some band aids. And I should probably tell you. This orphanage is a bit strange."
Edith took his hand. "Upstairs there's tons of extra clothes, and I have some bandaids for those scratches." they ran upstairs to the bedrooms.
Edith smiled. "Because I need a friend. And it looks like you do too. I have seen a lot in my lifetime. It has been difficult. But you have seen similar things. If we become friends, we'll both be happy!"
Edith walked up to the boy. "I won't hurt you, my names Edith, I can help you, if you want." she said.
Edith smiled she had been listening into the conversation. Of all the things that have happened in her life this by far was the greatest mystery yet. She needed an ally though. But who to pick. John is too headstrong, Psych is a traitor. That left her on her own.
Edith looked dmb but wanted to smirk. She had already hidden it. "What camera?" she asked looking as confused as possible.
Edith smiled awkwardly. "Yah, I've gotta go. I promised a kid that I would play tag with him," Edith tried to leave but John blocked the door.
Edith hesitated. "I uh, saw this man, and he was dressed in all green, and he gave me a postcard." she said fiddling through her bag till she found an old ripped postcard of Mavericville.
