John led all the kids into their rooms and locked the doors. Then he continued to close all entrances, exits, and windows. "No one leaves" He thought to himself

(how do you have secret tunnels that no one knows about? John sees all)

"Jex is none of your concern" John replied "EVERYONE INSIDE!"

John walked outside and stood in the yard "everyone inside! Activities end early today!" He called out to the kids.

(I fixed it)

"I kind of figured you wouldn't approve of changes" John said "But Some plans are too big for just one person to get in the way of. And mine is WAY too big" then, he pulled out a metal bar and whacked Jex in the head, knocking him out.

John slammed the door on him. "I don't think you get it. It's not that anything's wrong, but there are things I have to change. For my preferences"

John stopped by the door. "You know what?" John said "I haven't chatted about the future of this orphanage."

When Jex didn't reply, John growled "Fine, I'll check myself"

"I think you're crazy" John said "now, go find psych and Edith, they went missing"

"What thing?" John said, very suspiciously "You must be seeing things"

John casually picked up the record player and set it in a closet, as if nothing just happened.

John quickly shoved the disk back in his desk. "Ummmmm..." He stumbled for words "I accidentally lit my desk on fire." He pulled out a match and set his papers ablaze "See?"

John pressed play on the record player. there was a puff of smoke, and Psych and Edith where gone
