I'm about 50% through but agree entirely. The smutty puns are great

I love a book that creates a whole world to dive into and figure out how their society works. I also love future, space and magic as book themes so yes I looooooved this book. Fin did not exactly recommend the sequels but I'm going to struggle not to try the next chapter.

Found this proper spooky and atmospheric - although not surprising as overwintering in Svalbard is a lot like overwintering here on the mountain I reckon ;)

First book off the list I've finished. Shall avoid spoilers for now but just wanted to say how totally up my street this book was. I was not sober the night I started reading it and thought it was some bizarre trippy shit. Thankfully the next night I persevered and realised how interesting it was. Enjoyed thoroughly and have cast a lot of the characters in my head.

Everything counts! Audiobooks definitely. I'm just going in the order they appeared so started Neurodivergent Mind but that might.be a one chapter at a time job.

How are you choosing where to start? You know like with food where some people leave the best thing until last on their plate - is there a book you're planning to get out of the way or one you are leaving until last?
