Yep.

My thoughts were cut short when a shout echoed through the oppressive silence, they had found somebody. I started, my head jerking in the direction of the shout with a sharpness that almost wrenched my neck. I need to stop reacting to loud noises like that, or else I’ll get injured, but my mind wasn’t on my own wellbeing at that instant.
I felt myself turning towards the area that the loud yell had been heard. It was near the center of the site, only a few meters away from the source of the fire. I ran towards the first responders, easily out-maneuvering Eric’s attempt to stop me.
Skidding to a halt my gaze fell upon the corpse, feeling bile rise up in my throat at the simple sight of it.
(view spoiler)[It was the body of a middle-aged man, burnt beyond recognition, the flesh and muscles starting to sag off the body. The flesh was a harsh brown-ish black color, much like that of an almost charred steak, the hair nothing but non-existent. The facial features were sunken in, the fleshy color of the lips standing out among the burnt coloring, and the eyelids were hollowed in, indicating the man had no eyes. The clothing was completely burnt off, luckily the first responders had saved me from such a sight by covering half of the upper body and the lower half of the man with what I referred to as a “death sheet.” The only splash of normal color remaining was the yellow-ish white of the mistreated teeth.
