it's so worth it though! enjoy the ride

I was definitely stressed starting KoA and especially with the war. they go through so much and so many challenges throughout the book. It's definitely a stressful experience

I wasn't into ready as a teen. it wasn't till college that I got into reading

no I actually never read them but I've seen the movies lol 😅

yea some of your theories were spot on or close lol it was hard to play cool and not give too much away

it's such a bittersweet feeling very close to the end of the series. so much happens and I don't know about you but I get attached to the characters and feel like they are my actual friends

SJM is so good at having many things playing out at the same time. she'll give you a little nuggets or hens of what's happening behind the scenes but doesn't come right out and say until the very end. I was so shocked when I found out it was Duva. and the whole time while urine is healing Duva, Chaol is half dead I was STRESSING!!
I totally understand what you mean about the ending I do agree that it could have ended with Duva being healed and everything being okay, but I also like how she ended it with a set for when we catch up with them in KoA. I also wanted Chaol to tell Yerene that it was Aelin who gave her the paper but but the reunion that they have in KoA is so beautiful it totally makes up for it. it kinda makes Chaol and Aelins reunion more impactful but then you throw into surprise mix of Yerene meeting Aelin

AAAAAAAAAH I'm so happy for you!!

I love doing an audiobook and reading at the same time. I feel like it's more immersive
OMG YOU CAN DO IT!!! Good luck

I physically read read them and listened to the audiobook. I have ADHD and dyslexic so if I have the option I like to read and listen to books at the same time. helps keep me focused and understand what I'm reading better

nah man I cried when I first read it. I was also listening to the audiobook and the narrator is so good you feel the emotions

SPOILERS FOR QUEEN OF SHADOWS can we talk about the orchestra players who were killed for playing the national song for the slaves who were massacred. my Pinterest just reminded me of that and now I'm crying like a baby

I just got to the chapter in ToG when Celeana meets Nehemia and I want to cry. I'm not ready to be heart broken again

I love how SJM does that in her books lol. like you think you know what's happening and then the next chapter she throws in a plot twist and now you're lost again 😅😅

I love you're theory very interesting lol
I can't wait for your final thoughts!!

@Juani AAAAAAH YOU'RE GETTING TO THE NITTY GRITTY!! I couldn't believe it either when I found out but the more you think about it the more it makes sense!
the book goes from super slow to wtf just happened lol

that is such a good question and I have no idea lmao
like part of me will always love Chaol like he is my little baby. and Dorian is like my bestie for life. damn I really don't know 😶

what are your thoughts on the book now? have any of your theories changed

I also feel like reading AB before HoF makes HoF a little more emotional. like that's when Aelin starts to come to terms with herself and her powers and starts letting go of some things from the past
