It has been a couple of years since I read it but I was surprised how much I liked it. It is rare for me to read the second book in a series. I felt that Cardan was very mean but also super interesting as he was not your typical "romance" hero.

I may have given every book 5 stars but would have to double check.

I just finished If Cats Disappeared from the World and I recommend it as it is very different. I must warn you that I did cry a good bit about it. His mother was wonderful but he was very confused.
