I'm reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding. The genres in my book are Realistic Fiction, Social Issues, and Dystopian.Realistic Fiction: It is realistic fiction because it is the way people think kids would act if they had no superior elder telling them how to act. This only a depiction of how kids would act, this is not necessarily they way kids would act.
Social Issues: This book is also social issues because it is a society build by kids who are not mature enough to make great decision on the government. The kids don't always know how to handle different situations and it results in a chaos of laughter. It explores they way children think of government and order.
Dystopian: This is a dystopia because they are no adults to control the children and create a governing body that implies equality and order for everyone. They crashed on an Island so they have very little hope of survival and have little materials.
