Think about it: your book is a part of many different genres! What genres is your book? Why?

I am reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth. Some of the genres could be distopia, romance, and action.I think it is a distopia because its in a different world with a different way of life. Instead of having whatever traits you want, you have to narrow it down and pick only one trait to focus on, Kindness, Peacefulness, Braveness, Truthfulness, and Intelligence.
Romance is another genre I think it could go under because Tobias and Tris are in a relationship and throughout the book you can experience the challenges in a relationship. Tris and Tobias get into a lot of fights but usually make-up and get back together. They have a special relationship because Tobias was Tris's initiation instructor.
Action is the last one I'll talk about. This is a genre in the book because there is a lot of fighting and battles like when Tris and Tobias want to escape something. There is usually a gun mentioned in each chapter. There is a lot of description about fights and about how much pain the character is in if they are injured. In initiation training there is a lot of action with Peter trying to be in first place in the rankings. Peter while do anything to be first, and that includes stabbing someone in the eye with a butter knife or trying to throw Tris off the Chasm.
