50x66 Very well, Samus is still a valid argument. Until Other M that is.

True, but the whole gender sterotypes thing has been broken many times before in books, movies and even games with the likes of Samus Aran and Lora Croft. Also, the movie was meh at best. I found the lack of background music to make the movie appear bland. But hey, it's just my opinion.

50x66 My review:

Ah the Hunger Games. It seems like its completely unavoidable to find fangirls arguing over which are more attractive, Gale or Peeta. Personally,
I find books like these that try to "connect" with teens by having teens be the protagonist's just seem silly. I also find Katniss as one of those characters who has to be so morally good or the goody two-shoes that it causes them to do stupid things that no logical human being with a shred of intellect would do.

In the end it was Thresh who actually won the Hunger Games. Spoilers.
