Think about it: your book is a part of many different genres! What genres is your book? Why?

I am reading The Power of Six by Pittacus Lore. The Genres in this book are: Young Adult, and Science Fiction.Young Adult: This book has a significant amount of romance woven between the pages. This, obviously, is a much more suited topic for people in the young adult category. There is also a bit of violence/gore.
Science Fiction: John, Six, and 4 others are from an alien race. They are the only left from their race, due to the fact that another alien race, the Mogadorians, destroyed their country. Their mission now is to come together and fight back.
