What is the name of your book?
-The Wave by Todd strasser.

What are the different genres in my book?
-My book’s genres are fiction, history, education, and political commentary.

Explain why these genres fit in with your book?
-Fiction: I chose fiction because the book is based off events that have occurred, but the characters and the time line have been tweaked to make the story more interesting.

-History: I chose history because my book is based of a historical event that took place just after WW2. Again, it has been tweaked but is still a historical event.

-Education: I chose education because the story takes place in a California high school where a teacher and his history class act like they where the Germans at the time where the German people followed Hitler

-Political Commentary: I chose political commentary because the book has to do with the political stand point of Hitler and how he got people to follow him.

Social: I chose social because it is about a history class that looks at how Hitler got people to follow him. They look at how Hitler convinced the German people to follow him and his believes.
