Carmen nodded, "Sure. But make sure to remind me right before. Otherwise I'll probably forget." She looked at the ground, embarrassed by her terrible memory.

Carmen smiled a little at her mockery of the teacher. But the she elbowed Grace's arm, and gave her a look of 'That's not very nice.'

Carmen nodded, taking a deep shaky breath. "Yeah. Just fine." She told Grace, grabbing some paper towels to help clean up her mess.

Carmen wrote down the results and reached for the next solution, accidentally knocking it over. She let a gasp escape her and her eyes went wide as the solution spread over the table.

Carmen smiled, "Sorry, I forget a lot of things." She wrote down the results of the first test. She took the next solution and carefully dropped 3 drops onto the paper.

"Hi." She smiled at the girl. She had been in a few of her classes for some time now, but due to her short term memory, she couldn't bring herself to remember her name. "Um," She felt guilty asking someone she had known for a while what her name was, "what was your name again?"

Carmen sat down in her seat, when she looked up on the board, she saw that they were getting new lab partners today. She glanced around the room, wondering who her new partner would be.
