ahh yaa. i heard it portrayed desi parents as really toxic and that broke my heart because not all parents are like that. i mean in my family itself many of them are loving and caring like my parents, maternal grandparents, etc. it's a very cliche trope and that there was barely any actual indian culture. so yeah i guess so but i would love to read it before i say anything
