Katie’s comments from the Ms. Babb's LA 10 Class group.

"The Story of an Hour" and "The Yellow Wall-Paper" both deal with wives uphappy in their marriages. This seems to be a result of their husband's controlling nature. In the first story, the main character is happy to find that she has been freed from her husband. In the second, the wife feels trapped by her husband. Therefore, they both carry the theme "controlling husbands make for an unhappy marriage".

In this discussion, name two themes that you think are present in Romeo and Juliet. Use at least three cited pieces of evidence from the book. Reply to at least two classmates with one piece of evidence that they did not list for one of their themes.
