Dave’s comments from the Revelation and End Times group.

Is "rapture" Biblical? If so, we need to present solid proof in the form of an actual "teaching" by Jesus or by the Apostles. If much of the supporting text are insertions of thoughts in the middle of other teachings, then does this qualify as an actual "teaching" on the subject. All the great and sold doctrines of the Bible are stated clearly and there is often actual teachings on the topic by someone in the Bible. If we need to put together 10 verses in order to establish a doctrine, it seems thin. One thing seems sure to me, Revelation is NOT a good book to use to support Rapture doctrine. So, let's make a solid base we can all agree on, or leave that doctrine as a question rather than an answer. Right?
