I finished Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race. Excellent book and movie!

I'm really excited to get around to it. I definitely won't finish it by the end of the month, but I got the audiobook from the library so I thought I'd at least start it.

I also started Me Before You. I apparently can't stick to 1 at a time.

I'm in a mystery/suspense kind of mood, so I'm going to pick up Phantom Evil by Heather Graham. It's paranormal investigation. I also have The Cuckoo's Calling as a crime novel, and Winter as a fantasy read.

Hello, everyone!

My goals for 2016 are pretty simple.

1. Read at least 50 books.
2. Finish at least 5 series/trilogies
3. Read at least 5 classics
4. Reduce my TBR to below 100 physical books
5. Write more in-depth reviews

I am also planning to participate in several mini-challenges and readathons and will update progress here.

I just finished this and I really enjoyed it. I too saw the differences between the movie and book. I found it interesting that Glinda's hair is a different color and the shoes are silver and not red. Overall, it was a lovely story but I don't think I'll be reading the rest of the series. I don't think the rest of the series ever measured up to this one. I hope you all have enjoyed reading this wonderful piece of literature! :)
