1176148 I've started with a non fiction, Celtic Myths by Miranda Jane Green, which I've nearly finished. Next will be a classic vampire story Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu and a modern retelling of episodes of nordic mythology, The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec.

Haha, indeed you do well at double checking! XD But actually I've been wanting to read Nights at the Circus as well so we can do our buddy read ;-) I just don't have a copy of it yet so won't be able to start off the year with this buddy read ( also have a couple of other buddy reads planned for the beginning of the year ), but maybe around spring would be a good time?

Well it's quite simple, we read the book more or less at the same time and we discuss about it in a discussion set up previously and which indicates the book we are going to read. It's to give our opinion on certain passages and reflection anything linked to the book :-)
1176148 Good luck Saar!
Nice list!^^ I will be reading The Hauting to Hill House as well this year, maybe you would be interested in a buddy read? In any case I'm looking forward to see what you think about it :-)

1176148 @Patricia: Exactly, for me there is not really a point at reading if you always read the same thing, but still as everyone I have some kind of books that interest me most. Thank you! And hope you have fun reading as well!^^

@Ioana: Well there is a first time for everything! I wasn't expecting to come accross anyone knowning Mircea Eliade either ;-) And I haven't heard of that one so I will go check it out :-) Thank you and happy reading to you as well!^^

@Emily: Thank you Emily! Well my shelves tend to crawl under those genres so I thought about brining them some relieve! ;-p You are welcome to drop in at any moment :-) Thanks^^

1176148 So here I am again. I'm not really good at picking my books ahead, thus I didn't complete my challenge of 2021, but I will try again in 2022! :-)
I liked my organisation of last year so I'm going to divide again my books in groups of 4 by genre or the like. Also some of my books from past year that I planned to read but didn't are moving on to my 2022 challenge ;-)

Progress: 10/12 ( + 4 )
