Finally finished this challenge after failing the past few years.
Last up was
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest - 4 stars from me. A good end to the trilogy, but there were a few times when it felt like it dragged a little.

I liked this book and am interested to read the next books in this series. I had read some of the books in another series by this author and remember liking them. Interestingly that series was also set in Birmingham, Alabama. I did like the main characters and enjoyed trying to put all the pieces together.

On behalf of the Moderators, we were saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Sincere and heartfelt condolences to King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family. Whilst we mourn the loss of a Queen, her family mourn a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her 70 years of service to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth has been an inspiration to many.

I've read some other books by Debra Webb and have bought this one - looking forward to reading it this month, probably after my current read

11th book finished - Songbirds by Christy Lefteri. I preferred her previous book, The Beekeeper Of Aleppo but this was still a good book. The conclusion felt perhaps a little rushed/sudden for me and I think an epilogue could also have been a good ending. But still 4 stars from me.

Thanks Martha. I've read most of the books in Gregory's Plantagenets & Tudors series and like them too.

Book number 10 finally finished today. I enjoy The Six Tudor Wives series by Alison Weir but had to put this one on hold due to a team challenge in another group. Worth waiting for, a solid 4 stars from me.
