Finished with Razorblade Tears. I really enjoyed this, even with some of the rough stuff! Revenge or hate. Are they one and the same?

Almost done with this year's challenge. One more left to finish. I will say that so far, my absolute favorite for the year was
The Lobotomist's Wife
. LOVED IT!!

ONE MORE LEFT TO READ from my list. Some really good ones this year, and some that were like squelching through mud to finish! Always a fun challenge though!

I really, really liked this book. I’ve always loved a good “last one standing” mystery and this one has a cool twist!!
I'll just put this here since it's one of our September reads anyway!
Trust No One

I will second Cackle, by Rachel Harrison

This moved really slowly for me and then wham...the end was a surprise. I started to stop reading it several times. The end was worth the read for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love Matthew McConaughey! But, I did not love this book. I normally don't criticize memoirs, because a person's story is their story. But this just felt like a lot of self-congratulatory rambling. Maybe typical McConaughey?? Just didn't work for me.

Sweet story with interesting twists; I enjoyed it

I second The Unsinkable Greta James

What a beautifully written book, filled with the power of the human spirit. Loved it!

I will nominate
The Overdue Life of Amy Byler

I am LOVING this book so much! The characters are just amazing.

I second Once There Were Wolves
