hello hello dont mind me just sneaking onto this dead chat and dropping a snippet of a story
[this one isn't on my GR BTW, it's just something I'm writing for schoolmates, lil fanfic ig?]
(view spoiler)[I tossed and turned, confused. I jumped when the door to the house slammed shut. My brain was hyper with activity, it refused to shut down. My hair was unruly, my legs and arms restless. Sleep would be impossible tonight. I groaned and went downstairs. Emma was at the table, a mug of hot chocolate in front of her. She glanced over at me and waved. “Hi. Was hoping you’d come down. There’s some more chocolate in the pot if you want some.” I nodded gratefully and took a mug from the cupboard.
“What’s keeping you up this time?” I shrugged. “Just infected stuff. Someone sent us a note to meet them at a certain place at some time. It’s confusing and concerning. What about you?” Emma sighed. “Favian.” She didn’t elaborate. “What about Favian?” The frothy foam kissed my lips while the chocolate singed my tongue. It was good though. She wore out the spoon she was spinning in her chocolate. “I don’t know. He’s been…” She stared off a bit then resumed her answer. “I don’t know. But he’s been weird lately. He’s-” She shook her head. “I don’t know.” She took another sip of her chocolate, leaving a brown mustache on her face. I stifled a laugh and she glared at me. “I don’t see what’s so funny.” “Sorry. You just, uh, got a-” I pointed towards my face and she wiped it off.
She shook her head but her mood had changed from serious to playful, which I knew as she tried to contain a smile. I missed her, and I missed moments like these with her. It’d been a long while since I’d been able to bond with her. Not that talking about our problems over hot cocoa was that unusual. But it was still kinda our thing. I saw some marshmallows peep over the brim of her cup. “Well back to the topic, what makes you think he’s been acting weird?” She shrugged.
“I already told you. I don’t really know. But he’s been different. For example, today I caught him staring at me. When he realized that I had, his face flushed a dark red. That might be normal, he might have just been embarrassed, but I’ve never seen his calm mask slip. But it did. Then he rapidly excused himself and said he had to leave.” What if Favian has a crush on Emma? The moment the thought had wiggled itself into my brain, I swatted at it. That’s ridiculous! The voices had returned. How wonderful. Yeah, Favian is chill and all but the fuck? He’d be crazy to have a crush on her, she’s not even into lovey stuff.
Emma noticed I had gone quiet, raising an eyebrow. “Angie?” I shook my head, disturbing the conversation in my head. “Oh yeah, that’s pretty weird for Favian. Did you check for a fever? Maybe he was just sick?” She nodded again. “Yeah, but he insisted he was fine.” She tapped her fingers against the table. “Y’know, I’ve never noticed how soft his hair was. Or how warm his skin was.” Her eyes then widened and she cursed to herself. I cocked my head to the side, looking at her curiously now.
“Really? I must pat his head then. I wonder if he’d let me.” She looked repulsed. She then sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. “At least it isn’t me.” “Oh, I can pet your hair too, if you’d like.” She squealed and pretended to plead. “No, please.” I laughed and let the warmth of the chocolate and kitchen run through me. This was nice. “Wanna go outside?” She shrugged. “Sure.”

What will happen to you when I can't hear you?
What will happen to you when I'm in my own world?
What will happen to you when you can't see me anymore?
What then?
Should you off yourself, killing your light?
Should you cry in bed for days, wondering what it was you did wrong?
Should you stare at the ceiling, missing me?
Should you stress over what was your mistake?
No, you should not
I want you to be happy
I want you to love yourself
I want you to love me
I want to love you
But you just made me realize my greatest fear

(view spoiler)[“So let me get this straight, you all can think for yourselves, and this isn’t some fortunate malfunction?” Toy Bonnie rolled his eyes. “Uh, yeah, we only act like idiots and sing those kiddy songs because they love it. And we love them. Most adults are the worst though. Angie technically isn’t an adult so-” He shrugged.
I didn’t know what to make of this. Angie, the newest night guard among us, is also the one who’s survived because she managed to befriend killer animatronics. How ironic. “What’s next, you’re going to date one of them too?” Her face flushed a shade of pink. Balloon Boy looked up at Angie. “What’s it mean to date someone Angie?” Her face turned into a strawberry. “Well, um-”
“It’s when 2 people like each other and do things like kiss and go out and stuff.” Balloon Boy looked at me questioningly. “Will I ever get to go on a date?” Angie coughed very loudly. “Well then, Balloon Boy, remember how you told me you’ve never had a certain type of chocolate? Well, I brought some for you!” She veered him away along with his sister JJ, and over her shoulder shot me a hostile look.
The remaining animatronics stared me down. Toy Bonnie spoke up again. “Well, he doesn’t seem too bad. Sure he’s kinda old, but-” “Hey! I’m not that old! I’m in my early 40’s!” Okay, maybe I was a bit old but- Toy Bonnie grimaced. “Well, I’ll be honest, you look around 20.” Out of the corner of my eye, I could have sworn I saw someone sag with relief.
“Well then. So. You guys are friends with Angie?” One of the others finally spoke up. It was the original Freddy. “Well, they are. And have been. I don’t believe in a night guard’s charm. Last time that happened w-” A slap over the mouth. “Hush it you big-mouthed bear! Ye want to let ‘im know?” Freddy glared at Foxy. Looks like they can’t get along even amongst themselves.
I reclined in my chair, even though I was still feeling a bit tense. I don’t think they’d hurt me with Angie around but...better safe than sorry. Freddy just glared at me then stomped off. The metallic steps echoed in the large hallway. Toy Freddy looked at me nervously. “He might have some anger issues. He and Angie don’t get along. They both have anger issues.” Angie, I was aware of, but Freddy? Might be part of the reason he tried to kill me. I wonder what gave them life.
End of Flashback
I wonder what she would make of Bonnie still existing. Not that I knew anything of it. Doggy gestured towards the areas behind me. “I’ve been here for some time, and so far I have been harassed by some creepy baby dolls peeking at me through holes. I tried to get out here as soon as possible, but the elevator had gotten back up. I had lost pretty much all hope of getting out of here after going through what seemed like all the vents, then I heard the mechanisms come down and I pretty much just died. I thought it was another animatronic, but when I heard Angie and Foxy’s voices I melted in happiness.”
Foxy smirked and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. I grimaced at the ‘creepy baby dolls’. Those were probably the Bidybabs. Circus Baby needs to keep her circus in better order. I didn’t think they’d be disturbing us anytime soon though. I felt around my belt for my screwdriver. If they hadn’t appeared, I would probably have been fixing the Bidybabs by now.
Angie glanced around the place. “So. What motivated you to work here?” She rephrased her previous question. I shuffled a bit. How do you tell someone you haven’t seen in over 3 years that you were commanded by your (supposed) dead father to ‘free them’? Then again, Angie has seen some shit.
I don’t think I ever told her William was my father though. I'd tell her some other time. But this could be the last time I see her-
A screech echoed through the place. So much for a happy reunion.
“Well, I ought to get going. I’ll show you on the way out, and I need to fix the animatronics.” That was a lie. Sure, I adjusted their bolts and made a few repairs when they got damaged, but I couldn’t fix them. I couldn’t stop them from being aggressive towards others. Even around me, it took a while for them to accept me, much less repair them. I’ve kept them underground for so long, plus myself, I’m pretty sure we’ve forgotten how the light of day looks or feels like anymore.
When Circus Baby first saw me after the scooping, she seemed to have a glint of recognition in her snake-green eyes. How? I don’t know. I looked nothing like Micheal Afton as a teenager, which must have been when she last saw me. Perhaps her robot senses triggered memories shoved all the way down. What I do know is that Circus Baby, she’s something else. Not in a good way either.
Angie had a different idea. “Mike, can’t we explore this place first? Please?” I inwardly groaned. This place was dangerous. I lead her on through. We left the Ballora and Funtime Foxy control room and crawled in the vents. Angie audibly gagged. I looked back at her and she was tearing up. “I’m sorry! I’m not used to the smell of rotting corpses!” I chuckled. Who was? Doggy and Foxy seemed to be having a harder time, yet were not complaining. I could see the disgust on their faces though. Foxy seemed to be turning green. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5-Book 2: Encountering The Unknown
(view spoiler)[“Hello?” The voice repeated. I didn’t know what was coming from the vents but a pair of binoculars, a compass, and a map weren’t going to be very useful weapons. I reflexively stretched my arm out to keep Foxy at bay, but he snatched the binoculars from me and made me go behind him. I looked over his shoulder and shone the little light on the compass at the vent. I should have brought a flashlight. Well considering how Foxy had shoved me in the car, I don’t even think I would have had time.
The air duct cover started to rattle and I felt myself start shaking as well. It burst open and I jumped almost a whole foot in the air. I saw a hand burst out the duct and I froze. Then a surprised face. Then a grin. Foxy gaped at the face. “Doggy? How did you even end up here? What are you doing in a vent? In this vent? What? I don’t even-” He shook his head and scooped him out the vent. Doggy noticed we were shaking and smiled slyly.
“I managed to scare you. Ha.” Foxy pouted and looked away. I was just about ready to pounce on him. “Okay, okay, we found you, which is why we came here, but now we’re stuck in an elevator.” Doggy nodded. “Yeah, so did I, but there’s a way out. In the vent, c’mon!” Foxy grimaced. “Aren’t I kinda tall? Or too large overall?” I took a peek inside the vent. It was pretty narrow. The flimsy pajamas weren’t going to help much either.
I scooted in and fit nicely into the air duct. I peeked back out and signaled for them to come in. Foxy grimaced again. I think his biggest worry was his tail. I shoved myself in there and crawled forward. I jumped when I heard Hand Unit speak again. “We are near the Ballora gallery. Please continue carefully, too much noise will disrupt her, and we don’t want that do we?”
Ballora gallery? Well if she’s an animatronic, then no, no we do not. I stood in there for a while, not really knowing if Doggy and Foxy were behind me. I heard a muffled ‘well in she goes’ and then some noise. Someone else was in the vents.
??? POV:
I had heard Hand Unit activate. I was shocked because I had been positive about making sure that no one would come in here again. I took a good look at Ennard. I had learned how to sustain myself, not needing him anymore. I don’t know whether to thank him or despise him. He did kill me, and use me as a damned suit in the human world, just to escape. Whereas Circus Baby… I shook my head. She was someone I could never forgive. She was so sadistic and self-absorbed. The worst part about her was-
I heard a clinking behind me and saw Ennard. “Well, it looks like we have a visitor.” He said in his raspy, broken voice. My face twisted into a frown and I felt queasy. Visitors meant noise. Noise meant awakening. Awakening meant the animatronics would be up and about.
I waved him off. “You better not scoop them either.” Ennard snorted and walked off, his metal wires bobbing as he left. I grimaced in disgust. Of course, he wouldn’t care. I was more worried about who could be in here, and from what I could see from my cameras, it was nighttime. I couldn’t help wondering what the chances were of me knowing them. They were pretty slim, but not impossible. I thought it’d be impossible to ever see my sister again, yet here we are.
I explored potential areas where the others could be. If they ended up finding the ‘visitors’ as Ennard had dubbed them, well I would find the unfortunate souls who ended up down here. That entrance was supposed to be sealed tight. I was in the room that controlled the Ballora and Funtime Foxy galleries.
I might want to survey from above. Just as I was about to head in, the lid of the vent had popped open. Oh no, no, they were in that vent? “Ew! It smells here!” A voice came from the vent, the same feminine one from before. I scrambled to open the door but the owner of the voice came in. I surveyed her. Flimsy tank top, and a loose pair of sweatpants. She wasn’t planning to be here. We just stared at each other for some time. She cocked her head and then sniffed the air.
“Oh, so you’re what smells so bad!” She wrinkled her nose but then looked at me apologetically. I shrugged. “It’s alright. I can’t help it though, it’s something that comes along with my condition.” She looked at me sympathetically and was a bit shocked. She was staring at my skin. Did I mention it was rotting and a disgusting shade of purple? She took a few obviously hard-to-do steps but patted my shoulder. The smell was obviously suffocating her.
She cocked her head again. “You seem familiar. What’s your name?” “People around here call me Eggs Benedict because Hand-Unit malfunctioned and the name stuck. But the real name’s Mike. Micheal Schmidt.” That wasn’t a total lie. It wasn’t my birth name, but I don’t need this stranger knowing that I’m related to one of the most sadistic killers ever known. Her mouth popped open. “Mike?” She squeaked. I raised an eyebrow uncomfortably. “Uhm, yeah?” She looked at the floor. She looked up at me in astonishment. “Mike! It’s you! It’s really you!” She started laughing, tears going down her face. They were inky black. The animatronics looked so freakish with eyes and animal parts that I had just assumed she was another animatronic, a new one, with her wolf ears and tail and glowing purple pupils. I gulped. “Do-Do I know you?”
She wiped away some tears, leaving streaks of black on her face. “Mike! It’s me, Angie! You probably don't recognize me because of my eyes and ears, but it’s me! I worked at the first and second Freddy Fazbear’s with you! Bonnie and Freddy and Chica-” She gasped. “Do you know where they are?” I let it all sink in. I didn’t know what had happened to the second place because sometime before I had come to work at Sister Location. As my father had asked me to after his death. To free the souls…
I blinked. “You’re here? I-” I looked behind her and saw a dog and a fox animatronic. They weren’t wearing fancy attire such as bowties or had any sort of musical equipment. I pointed towards them cautiously. “Who are they?” “Oh, I forgot, these are Doggy and Foxy! They’re my friends.”
“Nice of you to befriend some more animatronics. Are they replacements for Bonnie?” Her face flushed red. It had to be her. She was the only one with enough brain cells to have a crush on a robot and would be infuriated at any slightly snarky remark towards him. “Okay one, no one can replace Bonnie even if they tried. Second, they're not animatronics. They're flesh and bones.” The one who I assumed was Foxy had coughed and slit his eyes at me.
All I could think about was how he looked nothing like my Foxy. His fur was a muted sleek orange of an actual fox, with the white tail tip. He also wore his pajamas, whereas the one next to him was prepared, with jeans, a long sleeve shirt, a jacket, and a scarf. He had some car keys as well. He was supposed to be here, the others weren’t.
“Alright, so from what I’m seeing, one of you came here for a reason, where the other 2 came on a wild goose chase.” Foxy looked uncomfortable. “Angie, is everyone from your past got some concerning attribute or can tell the future in some way?” She let out a wheeze.
“I feel that no matter what happens, you’ll always find my past confusing. So do I, by the way.” She then grinned up at me. “Well Mike, you may smell revolting, and have decaying skin, but you’re still here. Definitely not as enthusiastic as I thought I’d be. Anyways, how’d you even end up here?” “I'll explain later.” Angie and her straightforward remarks. “Well, I have my own questions too. You have animal ears and tail, plus your eyes are the color of the night sky with purple pupils. Explain.”
She smiled sheepishly. The one named Doggy spoke up. “If you’ve known Angie as long as we have, you’ll have noticed that she is reckless and impulsive.” She shot him a sharp look and rolled her eyes. That she was. Really, if she hadn’t gotten up that first night with me to greet the animatronics, I might have intervened and probably gotten myself killed.
Flashback:
“Oh, hey Mike! I thought you had moved to the day shift.” I shrugged. “They moved me back to the night shift after they opened this place.” I gestured to the ceiling, meaning the second pizzeria. She grinned. According to Scott, Angie has already been working for a bit over a week here. I don’t know why she liked this job. She knew damn well the animatronics were dangerous. She said she felt tethered to the place, and she’d only been here for a short while.
She sighed and sat down in the second office chair. She grinned at me again. “Do you know about the Parts and Service?” she said a bit smugly. I raised an eyebrow. It was a room where the replacements were for the animatronics, obviously, being Parts and Service. “Yes?” Her smile faltered and she was staring at something. In one of the vents was one of the animatronics. It was too early in the night for me to deal with this.
I brought on the spare Freddy mask we used for cover but it had already pounced on Angie. A feeling of dread overcame me. She screamed as the blue bunny got on top of her. I thought that instantly she’d get shredded to pieces, but instead, it just sat there, until he shot a sharp glance at me. Angie’s face was twitching as if struggling to keep the fearful expression. Toy Bonnie’s face then burst into a smirk, while Angie burst into laughter.
Toy Bonnie got off her and dusted himself off, the smirk still on his face. Angie was laughing so hard, tears accumulated in her eyes. She sighed and shot me another grin. “Well Mike, on a scale of one to ten, how’d we do? You think the kids would like the performance?” I gaped at them both. I was still gaping when some of the other animatronics came in as well.
“I-I’m missing something here. I am missing something huge here.” Angie just looked at me blankly. She smiled sheepishly. “I never did tell you, did I? I never thought you’d recover the night shift completely so I didn’t bother to.” She shrugged. “Well, long story short I befriended the animatronics.” She used Toy Bonnie as an armrest, but the attempt made her look silly since he was so tall. Befriend the animatronics? I couldn’t help it. It was just so...confusing. “So you’re telling me, you befriended the creatures that want to kill us?” “Oh no, not all of them want to kill us, just the original Freddy. Well, he wants to kill me anyway. BB is harmless.”
She patted the figure next to her, a robot boy-er, was a robot boy who gave balloons to children. Yeah, I saw him around the day shift once or twice. He seemed like a clingy kid who just found their mother. BB was hugging Angie’s legs like there was no tomorrow.
The animatronics had crowded around the desk, me being in the spotlight. I noticed that there were some tattered ones in the back, which looked strangely a whole lot like the originals-
“Oh my goodness-Angie, are those the originals?!” She glanced over at the general direction of the animatronics. You’d think she couldn’t have her smile grow any larger, right? Nope. “Bonnie!” She ran over to him and launched herself in the one arm he had left.
Well, that’s sure a way to greet someone who tried to get you killed. This is interesting to watch. I saw the red lights he had for eyes facing me. He tapped Angie on the shoulder and then pointed towards me? “Does he know?” he asked in a glitching, malfunctioning voice. She moved her hand in a so-so way and he nodded. I didn’t get how Angie understood him so clearly. But I must admit, for a broken animatronic, his moves sure seemed swift and human.
She buried herself in his chest fur. Talk about attached. “You didn’t tell me you had a personal relationship with the bunny,” I murmured. They both whipped their heads up at me. “We don’t!” They said in unison. Not that I had asked Bonnie, but alright. (hide spoiler)]
