"It's alright" she breathed, somewhat breathless as goosebumps stood out on her skin. She knew he noticed. And blushed. He was treating her as though she were some nobility of old, though it was entirely an impermissible act to touch a noble woman's leg as such, she was sure.

She watched him, swallowing hard in the cold, yet somehow he was a furnace. "I can.." Yet she caught herself and fell silent once more as she watched him.
((Lol. Love it. It's so old fashioned and chivalric))

She obeyed, though she rolled her eyes at his maddening ability to treat her like a dog. Yet she sat silently near him, enjoying how he radiated heat.

She followed him, sighing and pulling her hair up into a messy bun behind her head in one fluid, easy movement as she watched the tall man, still in his coat and shoes.

She sighed, taking her heels off and leaving them just outside the front door, as they were ruined anyways. She groaned at his comment and stepped inside, rubbing her arms to try and warm herself, ignoring her mud spattered skin as she closed the door.

She stepped out and pulled her bag out, jogging up onto the porch, though even the short distance had soaked her and managed to splash mud up her calves, let alone ruin her expensive heels.

She nodded and continued driving until they reached some sort of old country home, sheltered in the trees of the area. She parked out front of it. "Where are we?" She demanded with some fright

She obeyed, yet winced when the tires jarred against the dirt and the car groaned in objection. "Where..."

Her smile disappeared as she nodded, turning smoothly and glancing over at him, awaiting his next order. She was yet again caught up in how ever brooding expression and darted blue eyed

"Ya well" she smirked coyly over at him. "At least I do not need a babysitter, eh?" She giggled, watching him carefully out of the corner of her eye.

She shook it off, however, as this sort of touch. "I do not need pitying words or comfort. They are for lesser humans. Who cannot bear pain. I can" she said, glancing over at him. "On my own"

"Don't worry about my feelings." She breathed, leaning against the wheel.

((Ill post later I just can't think of inspiration for this one right now))

She sighed, and for a long time it seemed she wouldn't respond. She rubbed her eyes. "Amazing. As smart as you...attractive and good looking. Athletic, muscular and a heart of gold" she fell silent again.

She sighed, and for a long time it seemed he wouldn't respond.

"Oh nothing" she smiled, her eyes twinkling mischeviously as she let go if a timid smile
((Hmm idk. What should happen to them?? Do they make it to a hotel or does something happen?))

She bit deep into her lip and coughed, pretending to focus on the road. He was so keen on saying things that happened to make her blush like a school girl. "You're quite funny, Mister Dysfunctional

She sighed, pulling her coat and scarf off and pulling a light pullover over her dress, the hem of it barely visible under her sweatshirt. She cleared her throat and glanced over at him. "Grad student. Oxford. Criminology, specifically criminal psychology. " she said smoothly, running a hand through her hair.

She obeyed and drove in silence for god knows how long, chewing on her lip and gripping the wheel as she turned on the wiper blades.

She blushed, looking away as she began to drive, gesturing to the radio panel with her hand. "Tune it" she said bluntly, cranking the heat up even more as she stole fleeting sideways glanced in his direction.
